The sun is shinning, birds are singing, flowers are blooming. That’s it, Spring seems to be here! 🙂
All of this begged for a new cute blouse to wear in the sun.
I wanted to do something basic and easy, so I’ve select a blouse from a translated Japanese book I have that seemed to fit the job.
After a bit of fussing with the sleeves and with the facing, I finished it just in time to wear it on the week-end. I’m not entirely happy with the fit in the middle of the bust but it’s not the end of the world. If someday I make another one, I’ll remove a bit of excess fabric in the front.
Here are a few details from this garment.
The gathered sleeves:
The facing which I’ve finished using my overlocker.
I’m really proud about the interior of this one. I think it looks just as good as the exterior! The overlocker does such a neat job!
And the gathers in the front:
I hope you had a productive week too and were able to sew yourself some clothes!
