Projects bag for knitting (or anything else!) are a fun and easy project to do when you’re in need of an fast gift for friends or even yourself!
I find myself quite often in this situation and having the perfect cute fabric just sitting on my desk for some time, I decided it was time to give it a try!
I made the Reversible bag, a free pattern by Martha Stewart and I was so happy with the result that I did another one right after!
The first bag, the one with the very cute bird fabric is made with the pattern enlarged to 150% and adding 1cm seam allowances. It’s perfect for a one skein project and did I mention cute?!?
The second follows the pattern and is enlarged to 200%. You can carry a two skeins project with it.
For both I didn’t topstitch the handles at the end because I wasn’t feeling up to it. Instead I closed them by hand-sewing.
Did you also made one of those popular bags? If so, what did you find challenging?
