It’s been in the works for some time now…
These last weeks, I’ve been working on a secret project… Maybe you even saw glimpse of it on Instagram along with Joey the Kitten. I’ll admit, it was hard keeping it a secret for that long but we are very proud to introduce the first ever Swiss Delights Yarn Kit in it’s Christmas edition!
So why am I so excited about this kit?
Well, first it contains a new, never-before published pattern by yours truly!
This new shawl is the perfect winter scarf pattern. Myrtille is knitted sideways from the tip to the final lace edge, its asymmetrical shape keeping you warm and chic effortlessly. And it happens to be perfect for those long winter nights spend knitting in front of the fire, you’ll enjoy watching the lace stripes evolve as you progress.
This yarn is truly a joy to knit with but let me tell you, wearing it is even better! 🙂
Plus because it’s nearly Christmas, we’ve thrown in lots of goodies (handmade stitch markers, anybody?), vouchers and some surprises too! Can’t wait for you all to receive these boxes. Will you be able to wait until Christmas day to open it? 😉
And if it still wasn’t enough, I’ll be hosting a Knit Along on my newly open Stitch-N-Smile Ravelry group, starting January 6th 2015. There will be plenty of help, tutorial, laughs and virtual cake (wouldn’t that be fun?) so that everyone will have a blast knitting this shawl!
All the beautiful pictures were taken by the talented Fides from Siidegarte. In order to have such a stunning result, we got up way too early to make the most of the haunting mist around the hills and forest of Hirzel, Switzerland. We were cold and Fides surely had to do a lot of photo editing to remove the shadows under my tired eyes (sorry!) but we had a blast doing this photoshoot. I couldn’t have asked for a more perfect team.
So if you’re still short of a Christmas present for your friend, your mum, your sister…or looking to treat yourself? Don’t look any further, the Swiss Delights Yarn Kit is what you need! 😀
Hurry! The limited subscription period lasts until December 15th, 2014.
